Purpose
Controls the running of slickline into the lubricator and down the wellbore and contains any well pressure that may exist.
Description
The sheave wheel is supported with bearings and spindle between two arms.
The two arms are attached to the staff and held in place at the top with the wire guide when bolted into place. The staff mounts on top of the main body with an upper and lower bearing. This assembly is held in place with the hydraulic packing adapter nut.
The packing and packing glands are contained in the body, all having a hole in the center for the wire to pass through.
The stuffing box is attached to the top of the lubricator with a hand union.
