Chris BracePresident
Chris has been with Brace Tool for 30 years starting at an early age listening to the family business discussions with his parents. Chris’s first steps were in the manufacturing division with Brace and many years later his passion around manufacturing still shows as he’s involved in many of the research and development projects that will be driving the business growth. Chris is always looking for the next opportunity and you will find him strategizing on how to move the business forward, developing new corporate partnerships, and continuing to develop a stellar management team! In his spare time, you will find Chris enjoying outdoor activities.
Leona Kope
Controller
Leona joined Brace Tool in early 2022 and holds a Certified Management Accountant designation. Leona brings over 20 years experience in industrial construction, financial services and not-for profit sector. In her role, Leona has overall responsibility for the controllership and financial reporting activities for Brace Tool. Leona looks forward to travelling and spending time with her dogs.
Jay Mallari is the Quality Control Manager at Brace Tool. With a background in Mechatronic Engineering and over a decade in Quality Assurance and Management in the oil and gas industry, Jay is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards. As an Internal Process Auditor since 2012, Jay's attention to detail ensures that Brace Tool continues to deliver products of exceptional quality.
Benny Bexley
U.S. Sales & Operations Manager
Benny has been with Brace Tool for 10 years with previous experience in the Gulf of Mexico working for Expro Americas. Benny is a slick liner turned Sales Manager and is passionate about helping customers find the right solution for the job. When Benny isn’t working you can find him hunting, fishing, or sport shooting.
Clint Bowers
Red Deer Operations Manager
Clint started at Brace Tool in 1999 with previous experience in Slickline/E-line. Clint is responsible for the daily operations and sales in our Red Deer branch. Clint is also part of our operations and strategic sales team that works on key decisions on how to grow our business ensuring the highest efficiency. Clint has a unique hobby of making fishing lures. He enjoys fishing, camping, ATVing, and spending time with his family. Clint is married with two children and has one granddaughter.
James Jensen
Supply Chain Manager
James Jensen is the Supply Chain Manager at Brace Tool. With a foundational background as a machinist, James spent six years perfecting his craft and achieving his journeyman certificate which equipped him to transition seamlessly into roles encompassing sales, product support, and manufacturing processes. James is dedicated to streamlining operations and optimizing the supply chain to ensure seamless service delivery.
Darren Hallock
Global Business Development Representative
Darren rejoined Brace in 2021 with over 35 years of oilfield experience. The majority of Darren's experience comes from slickline and slickline equipment manufacturing. Darren’s focus will be on global business development and customer support. He enjoys spending time with friends and family as well supporting minor sports. Darren is married with 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.
