Purpose
The Instrument Hanger is used to hang sub surface instrument below Baker style lock mandrels.
Operation
Attach to bottom of desired lock mandrel and lower into wellbore to gently set into corresponding nipple, shear off and remove tool string from wellbore.
Precautions
A Shock absorber may be ran between the instrument hanger and the sub surface instruments to deaden the effect of jarring on the instruments.
