Grease Injection Control Head - Product Overview

A Grease Injection Control Head (GICH) often called a wireline grease head creates a dynamic seal around moving braided line or e-line so you can safely run and retrieve tools under pressure. Positioned at the top of the lubricator stack, it forms a pressure-tight seal while allowing continuous line movement during intervention.

How it works

The Grease Injection Control Head pumps high-viscosity grease into close-tolerance flow tubes at a pressure above well pressure. The grease fills the annulus between the tube I.D. and the line O.D., creating a liquid seal that’s maintained as the line moves.
